After graduating in Sculpture and launching an artistic practice in London, my path took a different turn when I became captivated by climbing. This passion led me to dedicate much of my career to the mountains—as a climber, mountaineer, guide, and environmental advocate—granting me the opportunity to work in some of the world’s most remote and breathtaking environments. More recently, I have returned to a creative practice, now based in Northeast Scotland. Here, I continue to engage with the landscape, expressing my responses through a variety of media, including painting, printmaking, and sculpture.
